Primary Rhinoplasty – Female in Her 20s

Goals
This patient in her 20s presented with beautiful eyes and a large, expressive smile, along with a dorsal hump and broad nasal tip. She wanted a beautiful, feminine nose that fit naturally with the rest of her face. We considered several possible shapes and, based on her eyes, lips, smile, and overall facial proportions, decided on a softer dorsal curve with a proportionately narrower and more refined tip.

Procedure
I performed a rhinoplasty with dorsal reduction and spreader grafts to reshape and support the bridge. The tip was narrowed and refined using a cephalic trim and dome-binding sutures. A strut graft and bilateral alar rim grafts were used to provide support and maintain a natural, stable tip shape.

Outcome
She now has a softer, more feminine bridge and a narrower, more refined tip. She was very happy with her beautiful new nose, but just as importantly, the nose complements her face and allows her eyes, smile, and other features to stand out. The overall result is feminine, proportionate, and natural.

Rhinoplasty is not only about creating a beautiful nose; it is about creating a nose that makes the entire face look more beautiful and balanced. The ideal nasal shape is different for every patient. The goal is to consider the eyes, lips, smile, and overall facial proportions so the new nose complements the patient’s best features rather than competing with them.
