Natural Rhinoplasty – Female in Her 20s
Goals
This patient in her 20s presented with a small dorsal hump and a broad, heavy nasal tip. She wanted her bridge reshaped and her tip narrowed and slightly lifted, but it was very important to her that she still looked like herself and that her nose did not look operated.
Procedure
I performed a rhinoplasty with dorsal reduction and endonasal osteotomies to reshape and narrow the bridge. The tip was refined through a tip delivery approach with cephalic trim and dome-binding sutures. A vertical strut and bilateral alar rim grafts were used to provide support and maintain a natural, stable tip shape.
Outcome
Her bridge is smoother and more refined, and her tip is narrower, lighter, and slightly elevated. The overall result is a softer, more balanced nose that complements her face while allowing her to still look like herself.
Key Principle
A successful natural rhinoplasty should improve the nose without announcing that surgery was performed. Refinement does not mean changing a patient’s identity. The goal is to make thoughtful, proportional changes so the nose looks naturally suited to the face.
