Female Rhinoplasty for Facial Balancing and Tip Refinement

Cosmetic Rhinoplasty | Female, Teen

Goals: Create a cute, feminine, and natural-looking nose that complemented her beautiful eyes and facial features. Her goals included reducing the dorsal hump, narrowing the bony pyramid, and creating a narrower, slightly lifted tip—while avoiding a pinched appearance or alar retraction.

Procedure: Rhinoplasty with dorsal reduction, internal osteotomies to narrow the bony pyramid, cephalic trim, and dome-binding sutures to refine and narrow the nasal tip. A septal strut graft and strong bilateral alar rim grafts were used to provide structural support and maintain smooth, natural nostril margins.

Outcome: A softer, smaller, and more feminine nose with a smooth bridge, narrower nasal bones, and a refined, gently elevated tip. The tip is narrower without appearing pinched, and the alar rims maintain a smooth, natural contour. The result complements her eyes and facial features while remaining natural and appropriate for her face.

Key Principle: A narrow tip should not be achieved at the expense of structural support. When the tip is narrowed, strong rim support can help prevent a pinched appearance and alar retraction. The goal is refinement with support—creating a delicate, feminine tip that remains natural and structurally stable.
