Primary Rhinoplasty
Primary rhinoplasty is performed for patients who have not previously undergone nasal surgery and want to improve the shape, proportion, or function of their nose. Treatment may include refining the bridge or tip, narrowing the nasal width, improving symmetry, or correcting structural problems that affect breathing.
My approach is never based on creating one standardized “ideal” nose. Every surgical plan is tailored to the patient’s facial proportions, anatomy, skin characteristics, aesthetic preferences, and personality. Over more than 25 years and 3,000 rhinoplasty procedures, I have treated a broad spectrum of nasal anatomy and developed the experience to recognize that achieving a natural result often requires a different approach for each patient.
As a surgeon board-certified in both Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, I evaluate the nose from both an aesthetic and functional perspective. The goal is a natural, balanced nose that complements the face, preserves the patient’s identity, and maintains strong structural support for a stable, long-lasting result.
