DFacelift with Perioral Rejuvenation (Lip & Mouth Lines)
This patient presented for facial rejuvenation, seeking improvement in her neck, jawline, and lower face. A key concern was the presence of fine lines and crepey skin texture around the mouth and lips, commonly referred to as perioral aging.
While a facelift effectively restores facial structure and contour, it does not directly address skin texture. For this reason, we incorporated a targeted perioral skin treatment with fractional CO2 laser at the time of surgery to improve lip lines and overall skin quality around the mouth.
This approach is a natural extension of a facelift procedure, adding minimal downtime while significantly enhancing the final aesthetic result. By combining structural lifting with skin resurfacing, we are able to achieve a more complete and balanced rejuvenation. Improvements in skin pigment and texture are often dramatic.
The result is not only improved jawline and neck definition, but also smoother, more refined skin around the lips—an area that often reveals age even after an otherwise well-executed facelift.
