This patient is a 42 year old female who presented for a rhinoplasty. She wanted a more proportionate nose that softened her face and looked more youthful. She did not like her dorsal hump and wanted a more feminine nose.

After a detailed discussion of her options, looking at patient before and after photographs and using digital imaging, we came up with a set of surgical goals. We decided to proceed with a closed rhinoplasty.

During the procedure, I reduced her dorsal bump and narrowed her nose with osteotomies. I reshaped her tip and made it smaller and more shapely. Her dorsum was slightly curved to provide a more feminine look. Yet the nasal tip was not upturned significantly.

After her swelling had resolved, she was pleased with her outcome. She felt her new nose fit her face and was more proportionate. It was feminine and to her liking.
