Meeting with Dr. Parhiscar

Your consultation is the perfect opportunity to learn about your procedure(s).  We want you to feel comfortable with your treatment choice, feeling completely comfortable with the explanation of your procedure.  Feeling completely comfortable with Dr. Parhiscar’s recommendations and confident you have found the plastic surgeon who will provide optimal surgical results is important.

After completion of your registration paperwork, you will meet with Dr. Parhiscar for a comprehensive consultation.  After thoroughly discussing your procedure(s) of interest and learning about your health history, Dr. Parhiscar will examine the areas you wish to change, providing options specific for your body type.  Prior to a consultation, some patients choose to write down questions they have for the doctor so everything they wanted to discuss is covered.

Your visit usually lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. During your visit, pre and postoperative photos of Dr. Parhiscar’s procedures are available to view. After your consult with Dr. Parhiscar, you will receive a written estimate with the fees specific to your surgery. We are happy to provide patient references as well…just ask!

We want to ensure you leave our office, satisfied that you have been thoroughly educated and informed. We are happy to assist you in scheduling your surgery; please know there is no pressure regarding booking a surgery date on the day of your consult; take as long as you need while considering your options.

You are always welcome to meet with Dr. Parhiscar for additional visits prior to your procedure. It’s important that you feel comfortable with the procedure being done and that all of your questions have been answered to your satisfaction.

This is an exciting time for you, as you are one step closer towards changes you have most likely considered for quite some time!

Your Preoperative Appointment

Approximately 7-14 days before your procedure, Dr. Parhiscar and staff will meet with you to go over your procedure, answering any additional questions you have.  Preoperative pictures will be taken and a physical exam done. Lab work and other tests (if needed), will be ordered.  Detailed written instructions will be provided along with consents for the procedure(s) being performed.  If necessary, prescriptions will be given and should be filled prior to surgery.

We want you to have confidence knowing all your questions have been answered and you know what to expect before, during and after your procedure.

Your Special Day Has Arrived

With the surgical facility and our office having been in close touch with you, the day of your procedure will leave little for you to do other than arrive at the surgery center.  Along with feeling excited your big day has arrived, it is perfectly NORMAL to feel a bit nervous!

Dr. Parhiscar will meet with you shortly after your arrival to talk with you further about your procedure.  Before you know it, you will wake up in the recovery room, your procedure over, with you feeling little to no discomfort.  Dr. Parhiscar will oversee you during your recovery period at the surgery center.  We work with only the most attentive and skilled professionals in the medical field and know you will be well taken care of before, during and after your procedure.  Remember that you will need someone to drive you home from your surgery and stay with you for at least the first 24 hours following your procedure.
