This patient is a 33 year old mother of two who wanted to improve her abdominal shape. She wanted to fit into dresses with less effort and was particularly dissatisfied by her lower back's appearance in tight dresses.

We discussed a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) as well as liposuction of her waist, back and inner thighs. I discussed the limitations of back liposuction and we decided to proceed with optimism. Her surgery went as planned and I used liposuction to shape her waist and back. I tightened her abdominal wall by plicating her rectus muscles.

She went home from the hospital the day of surgery. She was able to return to work in 4 weeks. She felt that she looked great and we had reached our goal of improving her quality of life. She felt she could "fit into any dress!"
